Delete Your Cricket Live Account or Data
Cricket Live does not require an account. The Service stores two kinds of data: an optional account (if you sign in) and device data (a push notification token and the matches, teams, and players you follow) that exists whether or not you have an account. Here is how to delete each.
Delete your account
If you signed in to Cricket Live, delete your account permanently from within the app:
- Open the Cricket Live app and go to More.
- Tap My Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
This is immediate and cannot be undone. If you don’t have the app installed, email support@cricketlive.org from the address on your account with the subject line “Delete my account,” and we will delete it within 30 days and confirm once it is done.
What’s deleted: your sign-in credentials (email/password, or your linked Google or Apple sign-in) and display name, immediately.
What’s kept: your account is not linked to the device data described below — your device’s notification token, follows, and favourites. Deleting your account does not delete those; follow the steps in the next section to remove them too.
Delete your data
This works whether or not you have an account — it covers the data stored for your device.
Uninstalling the Cricket Live app removes the preferences stored on your device and stops the app from sending further data. Disabling notifications in your device settings stops push delivery. To also delete the data already stored on our servers for your device — your notification token and your follows and favourites — email support@cricketlive.org with the subject line “Data deletion request.”
Because device data isn’t tied to a name or email address, please send your request from the device or describe it so we can identify the correct record. We will delete the associated data within 30 days and confirm once it is done. We don’t currently delete this data automatically, so a request is the only way to remove it before you uninstall.
What’s deleted:
- Your push notification (FCM) token and platform.
- Your followed teams and players.
- Your favourited matches and their alert settings.
